Getting Started

Initial Visit:
Your initial visit begins with a complimentary consultation. This is not a sales pitch, and there is no pressure. It is a conversation to get to know you, determine what your health needs and training/racing goals are, and explain how The Racer's Edge program can help you.
Here you will find out what we can do for you, how we do it and what you can expect from every aspect of the program, all upfront.
The Racer's Edge is not a solution for everybody. If we do not believe this is the right solution for you, we will gladly let you know and refer you to the best people in our network for what you need.
Some people require other types of care in lieu of or in addition to the program. If this is the case, we will make these recommendations at that time.
If after the consultation it is determined that we can help you, Dr. Blatt can perform your initial assessment and begin our journey.
What We Look For:
How We Look For It:
The objective assessment includes:
The results of the assessment will determine your customized/individualized plan. Every individual is different and has different needs, and it is our belief that your health care options should reflect that.
Followup Visit:
At your follow up visit, Dr. Blatt will review your exam results and present a personalized, comprehensive plan for you based on your objective needs and subjective goals, and give you your first full session of care. Your recommendations will be realistic and reasonable. Your progress will be monitored and we will adapt and refine your program as necessary.
In addition to what is done at your in person sessions, you will also receive complementary recommendations which may include home and self care; combinations of stretching, movement, rehab, food/nutrition, breathwork, and other tools. If you are in need of extensive care in other areas, we have built up a team of doctors and practitioners who can make sure you are equipped with everything you need.
If you are working with a group or private training team/program, Dr. Blatt will gladly communicate with them as necessary to help you get the best results you can.
